According to Southwest Franklin County Historical Society charter member and local historian Earl R. Nicholson, there’s a house at 3407 Grant Avenue, Grove City, Ohio, that was built just after the Civil War in 1865. It is one of the oldest residential homes in the Grove City Town Center historical district. The house was built the year the Civil War ended, according to Nicholson’s research. The house was fully restored by Diane and Frank Haimerl.
